Terms & conditions

These terms apply when you use this site or place an order on it. The site is run by S and G Salgo Furniture Factory (“Salgo”, “we”), XX 508 A, Chalakudy–Vellikulangara Road, Multi Purpose Cooperative Bank, Chowka, Elanjipra, Vettilappara P.O., Thrissur, Kerala 680721. The terms that govern any particular order are the ones in force at the moment you placed it — changing this page never changes an order you have already made.
What we sell
Every piece is made to order to the configuration you choose — frame, size, fabric, legs and finish. Because each build is made for you, it is not held in stock and is not resaleable as a standard item. That is why the cancellation window is what it is, and why it closes once the build has started.
Fabric colours can look slightly different on screen than in person, and because every piece is made by hand from natural materials, small variations in colour and wood grain are normal.
Your order
Placing an order asks us to build it. Your order is confirmed when we approve it, and we email you when we do. If we cannot accept an order, we will tell you and refund anything you have paid for it.
Prices
Prices are shown in Indian rupees and are calculated from the options you pick. The price is recalculated on our side when you place the order, so the figure you are charged is always the one your configuration actually comes to. Delivery is charged once per order, however many pieces it contains.
Payment
We do not take payment online yet. We confirm your build with you first, then arrange the 50% advance that starts it, with the balance due before dispatch.
Cancellations and refunds
You can cancel within 3 days of placing an order. The full terms, including any cancellation fee, returns and when a refund arrives, are set out on our cancellations & refunds page.
Delivery
We deliver within Kerala. Lead times, what happens on the day and what to check on arrival are set out on our delivery & shipping page.
Warranty
Every frame carries a five-year warranty, and cushions and upholstery are covered for two years of normal household use, from the day your order is delivered. The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship; it does not cover accidental damage or damage from misuse.
To make a claim, contact us with your order number and photos of the problem. We will inspect it and, where it is covered, repair or replace the affected part.
Your account
Orders live in your account, which is how you track them, download an invoice and cancel within the window. Keep the email address on your account current — it is where order updates and receipts are sent.

Complaints and disputes
If something has gone wrong, please tell us first — most problems are quickest to put right directly. Complaints can be sent to our grievance officer at the details below; we acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and disputes are subject to the courts in Thrissur, Kerala. Nothing in these terms affects your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, including your right to approach a Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission.
