This explains what we collect when you use this site, why we collect it, and who else sees it. In short: we collect what is needed to build and deliver your order, and nothing that is not.
Who we are
This site is run by S and G Salgo Furniture Factory, which decides how the information described here is used:
What we collect
- Your account — the name and email address you sign in with. Signing in uses a one-time code sent to that address, so we hold no password for customer accounts.
- Your order — the configuration you chose, and the name, email address, phone number and delivery address (house or building and street, landmark, town, pincode and district) you give at checkout, which is what the piece is built and delivered against.
- Messages you send us — your name, email address and message when you use the contact form.
- Payment records — the amount, the date and the payment reference our payment provider returns. We never receive or store your card number, UPI PIN or bank credentials; those go directly to the payment provider.
- On your device— a cookie that lets your cart and saved builds work before you sign in and, once you sign in, your sign-in token and basic profile kept in your browser's storage so you stay signed in. Signing out removes them.
We do not use analytics or advertising trackers.
Why we collect it
To take payment, build the piece to your specification, deliver it, reply to your messages, and send you order updates, receipts and invoices. We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Who else sees it
- Razorpay, our payment provider, to take and refund payments. Card and banking details are handled entirely by them and never pass through our systems. Their checkout window is covered by Razorpay's own privacy policy.
- Resend, our email provider, to send sign-in codes, order updates and receipts.
- Google Maps Platform, which we may use to locate your delivery address and plan the delivery route.
- Our delivery team, who are given the address and phone number needed to deliver your order.
- The companies that host this site and its database, which store the information above on our behalf.
- Government or law-enforcement authorities, where the law requires us to share it.
Keeping it secure
Traffic to this site is encrypted in transit. Sign-in codes are stored hashed, expire quickly and can be used once. Access to order records is limited to staff who need it to do their job, and changes to an order are recorded against the person who made them.
How long we keep it, and your choices
You can see and correct your details, and read your order history, from your account. You can ask us to correct or delete your information by contacting us. Records tied to a completed order — the invoice, the payment record — are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require, even after an account is closed.
Children
This site is meant for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Grievance officer
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, or a complaint about an order, contact our grievance officer:
We acknowledge every complaint within 48 hours and aim to resolve it within one month.
Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle your information, we will update this page and the date at the top of it. See also our terms & conditions and cancellations & refunds policy.
